My Favorite 4-Door Sedan: The Ford Fusion
My favorite 4-door sedan is one of the most popular Ford models, namely the Ford Fusion. The Fusion is a sedan, that comfortably seats up to five people. Most sedans have a boring look to them, however the Fusion has a sleek, sporty designed that is sure to impress anyone being passed. In fact, the front of the Fusion is used as a template for Ford in NASCAR.
The Fusion offers several trim levels including the S, SE, SEL and Sport. This allows customers to decide what kind of features they want. The models also offer something for about every budget, starting around $19,000 and going to around $27,000. These are the base prices and other options are often added, however it is still fairly priced for all of the included features.
The S features a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder engine that gets 22 miles per gallon in the city and 29 during highway driving. This model can be equipped with a manual or automatic transmission. The model is standard with traction control and stability to control allowing it to handle curves with ease. This allows drivers to enjoy a nimble ride, all while having the ability to haul more than a few people around town. An MP3 compact disc player is also standard, allowing users to enjoy their favorite tunes and not have to listen to annoying radio commercials on their trip.
Fusion's SE comes standard with the same 2.5 liter featured in the S, but also adds an optional 3.0 liter flex fuel engine, allowing drivers to run on E-85 fuel. This gives the car a more economical factor, as the ethanol is supposedly cleaner for the environment. This package has all of the features included in the S package and also has an Ipod input and Bluetooth as options for users with a taste in technology.
The SEL comes standard with a 3.0 liter Flex Fuel engine. Everything is standard on this model as the SE, but customers can also choose to add a navigation system, as well as a DVD player to entertain guests on longer trips. The Ipod input is standard, as well as Bluetooth and Satellite Radio. With an Ipod input and Satellite radio, passengers will never become bored on the next trip.
The top of the line Sport comes standard with all of the bells and whistles. The engine is upgraded to a 3.5 liter V6. The sport adds a spoiler and ground effects, giving it a much more aggressive stance compared to the rest of the family.
The reason my favorite sedan is the Ford Fusion is all of the options available. With all of these packages, there truly is one for just about everyone. Whether the potential buyer simply wants a nice looking sedan, or if they would prefer all of the bells and whistles. The car is big enough to comfortably transport four people, with room for five, all while having all of the new technology that people are interested in. The Ford Fusion is an excellent vehicle for just about anyone.
